Below, on the way home from the school bus stop. The snow covered surface on the left is a wall. At this point, there is about 50 foot drop from back of the houses above to the street. It's fair to say the hill is a bit steep right here.
Below is a view down the hill from the back of our villa during the snowstorm. Note the kimchi pots on the roof in foreground. It takes a lot of kimchi to get through a winter like this.
The picture below is again looking down from the back of our building (as I noted, the hill was pretty steep at this point). Note the repair job on the old house roof. I expect this house has been replaced by a new building by now.
