
The main entrance to the temple is through a gate guarded by the traditional four kings, two on each side. Here Gwang-mok-cheon carries a dragon and Da-moon-cheon carries a pagoda.
 
 
The temple consists of 6 major courtyards,
surrounded by buildings, with additional outbuildings. Each courtyard is on
a different level, requiring stairs to move between them. This is one of the
steepest areas to move between courtyards as the temple follows the terrain.
 
 
Here visitors are moving between areas of the
temple. Obviously, handicapped access is not part of the basic layout.
